Serra officers installed

Jack Kampfer was installed as president of the Serra Club of Honolulu for 2008-2009 at ceremonies at the Hickam Air Force Base Officer’s Club where the new officers posed for a photo. Pictured in the front row are trustee June Brieske, vice president of programs Marvin Scharosch, vice president of vocations Lleander Jung, and secretary Estrella Estillore. In the back row are co-vice president of membership Mark Pillori, district governor Chuck Furr, chaplain Father Gary Secor, treasurer Deacon Ron Choo, trustee Orby Groves, and Kampfer. Co-vice president of membership Wally Barker and trustee Sam Kamaka were not present. The Serra Club is an international organization dedicated to fostering and sustaining vocations to the priesthood, the deaconate and consecrated religious life.
