May crowning in Kahului

Allie Helm, a resident of Hale Makua nursing home in Kahului, crowns a statue of Our Blessed Mother during the recitation of the rosary on May 19. She is assisted by Malia Poese of Maria Lanakila Parish, Lahaina, who brought the statue and made the crown. Seated in the front row, from right to left, are Gloria Bediamol, Helm, Mildred Furuta, Maria Sahagun, Caroline Espirito and Gudilia Badua. The rosary and crowning were followed with a Mass celebrated by Father Ronaldo Guzman, Christ the King Parish, Kahului.
