Chaminade University of Honolulu has appointed Dominican Sister Malia Dominica Wong, professor in religious studies at Chaminade University of Honolulu, as the school’s new program director of the Buddkyo Dendo Kyokai-Fujitani Interfaith Program.
The program’s mission is to bring together the Buddhist community with other religious communities in Hawaii to promote interfaith dialogue and provide opportunities for understanding and action for peace and justice in the community.
All are invited to join the program’s free first webinar, “I’m Not Okay, But It’s Okay: Finding a Middle Way,” on Nov. 14, 10 a.m.-noon. The event will focus on wisdom and practices from three spiritual traditions on how to stay grounded, especially during this COVID-19 time.
